Make your days extraordinary with these spring bucket list ideas.

Here it goes…my spring bucket list for 2026!
My hope is for this post to help make your spring season more meaningful and fun.
Last year, I created my first-ever summer bucket list, and that made me realize just how much living intentionally is worth it (rather than having random things fill up my calendar).
Spring is the perfect time to enjoy the warmer weather before it gets super hot, at least here in New York!
After a long winter, I can’t wait to enjoy more daylight hours and outdoor activities.
Overall, you’re in the right place for the ultimate spring bucket list ideas.
Whether you want to focus on nature connection, creativity, wellness, and/or a home refresh, there’s something here for you.
Your list may be different depending on your taste and location, so use this as a starting point to take what speaks to you and create your own version!

Outdoor Adventures & Nature Connection
1. Visit A Tulip Field: Spring is the time when tulips shine! Scroll through a tulip field in bloom and take in the beauty of nature. One of my favorites places is Holland Ridge Farms, which is about an hour and a half drive from New York City.
2. Have A Picnic: There’s nothing like enjoying delicious food with good company and fresh spring air. Prepare your own picnic basket with garden tea party essentials, and don’t forget the sunscreen.
3. Fly A Kite: Feel like a kid again by flying a kite at a local park or your own backyard. It feels so freeing to look up at the sky, relax, and live in the moment.
4. Have A Photo Shoot With Cherry Blossoms: Springtime is synonymous with these delicate pink and white flowers. Make the most of cherry blossom season by taking photos with these blooms as a background.
5. Take Up Gardening: Get physical and mental exercise while feeling closer to nature by gardening. Whether you choose to grow flowers, fruits, or vegetables, it feels so rewarding when it’s something you planted yourself.
6. Shop At A Local Farmers Market: Get fresh groceries and support a local community by shopping at a local farmers market. You can often find unique items that aren’t carried at every store.
7. Take A Nature Walk: Any day can feel like Earth Day by simply taking a walk in the great outdoors. Take in the sights, sounds, and scenery, and unwind. Whether you’re going on a hike or a low-key stroll, it just feels good to get out there sometimes.
8. Go Running: I can’t wait to trade the treadmill at the gym for outdoor runs again this spring. Running offers so many benefits; to me, it’s so much more fun outside.
9. Make A Wish On A Dandelion: The magic of spring makes me appreciate the little things outside, like dandelions in bloom. Embrace that childlike wonder by making a wish on one of these yellow flowers and believing it’ll come true.

Creativity & Passion Projects
10. Enjoy Afternoon Tea: What’s more fun than putting on a new spring outfit and having afternoon tea? Invite close friends and family to spend quality time together.
11. Pick Berries: Look up local orchards and farms that offer berry picking this spring. It can be a wonderful way to spend an afternoon, and you can take home treats.
12. Make Strawberry Jam: It’s the ideal time to make strawberry jam, which can be added to yogurt, toast, ice cream, charcuterie boards, seasonal pies, and more.
13. Dye Easter eggs: A fun activity that can be enjoyed with the whole family is dyeing Easter eggs. Try pastel colors and tie-dye hues to enjoy the beauty of spring.
14. Do A Scavenger Hunt: Create your own game with friends! Make your scavenger hunt a friendly competition and create new experiences together.
15. Get Creative With Coloring: Adult coloring books are having a moment. It’s so therapeutic to fill in pretty illustrations with your own color palette. No drawing, no stress, no artistic skill required.
16. Update A Headshot: Spring is a new beginning, and there’s no better time of year to refresh your personal brand with a fresh headshot for social media.
17. Learn A New Instrument: Get in tune with your musical side this season. When I was younger, I played the viola and violin in school, which brought me so much joy. I’d love to take up a new instrument, like the piano or harp.
18. Create A Junk Journal: Ever since I made my own junk journal, I can’t stop talking about how it’s one of the most fun activities ever. Instead of letting memorable things (like movie stubs from a date or photo booth snapshots) pile up in a junk drawer, putting them in a dedicated book makes them special and easy to look back on.
19. Take A Day Trip: Discovering a new setting feels so refreshing. Whether it’s taking a bike ride to the next town or a road trip somewhere farther, a day trip can be a great way to experience new things.

Wellness & Self-Care
20. Watch The Clouds: When was the last time you sat on the grass and just looked up at the sky above you? It can be so soothing to unplug from screens and use your imagination to find different shapes and objects in the clouds.
21. Write In A Manifestation Journal: One major bucket list item of mine is to write my dreams into a manifestation journal. A new season is a cue to go after goals, and having them out on paper makes them feel more achievable.
22. Put Together An At-Home Spa Day: Make your home a self-care sanctuary. Running a bubble bath, lighting candles, putting on a face mask, and reading a book is the ultimate form of relaxation.
23. Write To Your Younger Self: Reflect on the previous chapters of your life, and write a letter to the younger version of you. You might be surprised how it can help with emotional healing and gaining perspective.
24. Write To Your Future Self: This acts as an archive that can help foster self-awareness, motivation, and accountability for your goals. Doing this activity can also make you feel more appreciative of the here and now.
25. Get A Haircut: Whether it’s a new hairstyle or a trim, a haircut can instantly make you feel refreshed and polished for the season ahead. A good hair day is a good mood day!
26. Enjoy A Spring Manicure: A set of whimsical spring nails inspired by a botanical garden or bright colors is a small change that can make a big difference.
27. Stargaze: Observing the stars can be so calming. To me, there’s no better way to spend an evening than to look up in the night sky, find constellations, and feel connected to nature.

Home & Space Refresh
28. Spring Cleaning: Make spring cleaning fun rather than a chore by putting on upbeat music and making space for only what serves you.
29. Closet Refresh: Putting away winter clothes and taking out spring outfits can really set the mood. I can’t wait to wear pastel colors and lighter layers like quilted jackets and spring dresses.
30. Create A Spring Playlist: Play songs that make you feel happy this spring. Put on these tunes as you’re getting ready, organizing, writing, or anytime, for an energetic boost.
31. Decorate For Spring: Put together a DIY floral arrangement of your favorite blooms in season and set it on your dining table to add a pop of color!
For spring 2026, start with a few bucket list items that excite you most.
This season is all about taking it slow, romanticizing every moment, and finding the beauty in every day.
Here’s to making the most of this fresh time of year.
